The Specialized Criminal Court issues its verdict in the case of the Honorable Judge Khaled Al-Athuri.
In a significant triumph for justice, our esteemed legal team, in collaboration with the respected Mr. Saqr Al-Samawi, Mr. Dahan Abdul-Mughni, and Mr. Akram Al-Jilani, successfully secured a landmark judgment from the Specialized Criminal Court in the case concerning Judge Khaled Al-Athuri. The court’s decision was articulated as follows:
1. The legal registration and description were altered from an attempted murder charge to the formation of an armed gang obstructing roads in Sana’a, the capital city.
2. Conviction was confirmed for Khaled Saleh Al-Ajrab, who remains at large, alongside Sami Sultan Abdullah Al-Zarqa and Muhammad Hussein Saleh Al-Amri, both in custody, and Mohsen Al-Gharasi, sentenced to ten years of imprisonment from the date of their arrest, with an additional sentence of being barred from holding public office.
3. The court also mandated the four defendants to compensate with a total sum of 36 million Yemeni riyals, 15 thousand US dollars, and20 thousand Jordanian dinars. This amount is to be paid to the victim, inclusive of all litigation expenses.

In a triumph for justice, our legal team, in collaboration with esteemed colleagues Professor Hashem Sharaf Al-Din and Professor Hisham Al-Shamiri, represented the students of the Higher Institute of Judiciary before the Appellate Court of Sana’a – Administrative and Labor Division. Today, on January 10, 2024, the division issued its judicial ruling, which stipulated:
- Acceptance of the payment made by the students of the Higher Institute of Judiciary, denying the appeal for being submitted after the legal deadline.
- Rejection of the appeal submitted by the Higher Institute of Judiciary on procedural grounds due to the expiration of the legal period.

In pursuit of upholding legal judgments and achieving justice, our legal team, in collaboration with esteemed colleagues, including Dr. Hisham Qaid Al-Shamiri and Dr. Hashem Mohammad Sharaf Al-Din, succeeded on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, in obtaining an expedited judicial ruling from the Primary Administrative Court in Sana’a, presided over by Honorable Judge Zaid Al-Ghafari.
The ruling was in favor of the students applying to compete in the Higher Institute of Judiciary for the Judicial and Prosecution branches. The judgment accepted the urgent lawsuit, compelling the institute to enable the students to enter the medical examination phase, which they were previously excluded from without legal justification.
